Out-of-Network Benefits
Check whether your plan may reimburse part of your care.
Nonlinear Minds does not bill insurance directly. However, your plan may include out-of-network benefits for eligible therapy or assessment services. Use the secure Thrizer tool below to view an estimate before scheduling.
Before you begin
Benefit information provided through Thrizer is an estimate and is not a guarantee of payment. Eligibility, deductibles, allowed amounts, exclusions, reimbursement rates, and claim decisions are determined by your insurance company.
How It Works
Out-of-network reimbursement, step by step.
The process can vary by plan, but it generally follows these three steps.
Check your benefits
Review your estimated out-of-network coverage for the service you are considering.
Attend your service
Pay the practice fee according to the payment policy rather than through direct insurance billing.
Request reimbursement
Submit eligible documentation or claims according to the process required by your plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
A few things that may help.
Do you accept insurance?
Nonlinear Minds is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Some clients may receive partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is a document containing information your insurance company may require when you request out-of-network reimbursement, such as service dates, fees, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider information.
Does the Thrizer estimate guarantee reimbursement?
No. The result is an estimate based on available plan information. Your insurance company makes the final determination after processing the claim.
Do I pay the full fee at the time of service?
Yes. Payment is due according to the practice’s payment policy. Any approved reimbursement would come from your insurance plan.
Are assessment services always covered?
No. Coverage varies by plan. Some policies exclude certain evaluations, require prior authorization, or reimburse only specific services and billing codes.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Mental health services may qualify, but eligibility is determined by your HSA or FSA plan administrator.
